Associate Director, Insights & Analytics

What You'll Do

As the Associate Director of Insights and Analytics you will join a team of experts in media, design, and strategy. In your role, you will be fully responsible for owning the analytics and insights practice of the agency. In this role, you will manage analytics implementation, including KPI identification, integration, and QA. On an ongoing level you will be responsible for KPI identification, analysis, reporting, and brand insights of complex acquisition and brand marketing goals across a range of high-profile clients.

What You'll Contribute 

  • Provide insights for client goals and objectives

  • Help guide digital marketing strategy based on gained insights

  • Collaborate across the agency through the entire client relationship including on-boarding, monitoring, analysis and reporting

  • Interact with clients via conference calls, email and face-to-face meetings to facilitate client deliverables and marketing meetings

  • Work with colleagues to generate performance reports and dashboards as well as recognize and troubleshoot data anomalies

  • Drive client insights across a range of industries to spot trends and opportunities

  • Provide analysis of results and optimization ideas in order to grow accounts and improve client goals

  • Ensure that all client reporting is spot on, following internal documentation and approval process

  • Work directly with account and strategy teams to help facilitate client meetings and provide analytics expertise as needed

Desired Skills & Experience

  • At least 2 years of direct web analytics experience working with Fortune 500 companies

  • At least 4 years of overall digital marketing experience

  • BA/BS in Statistics, Finance, Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred

  • Google Analytics IQ Certified

  • Experience in eCommerce industries and technologies

  • Expert understanding of web metrics, digital media test methodology, and optimization strategies

  • Advanced data analysis skills; fluency with performance metrics and ROI analysis

  • Expert knowledge of web analytics and testing tools

  • Experience with Social Analytics including Facebook Insights, Radian 6, SM2 and other social analytics platforms

  • Highly quantitative, metrics-driven professional

  • Proven track record in prioritizing a heavy workload

  • Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and minimal supervision

  • Superb written and communications skills

  • Extremely organized and detail oriented

  • Comfortable and confident acting as a product owner

  • Ability to solve problems with keen instincts and organizational experience

  • Positive, professional team-player who embraces team success
