You are an ideal candidate for this role if you are never satisfied by surface level understandings and enjoy digging into the numbers and research to get to the root of problem. You understand the importance of data strategy, able to develop meaningful insights from data, and can collaborate with creative teams to incorporate insights into the creative process. You are an adept storyteller, always seeking to add a narrative context to data. You can balance the quantitative data and analytics, but above all else, communicate the story behind the numbers, the implications on the client’s business, and give clear, actionable steps as to how the data supports the proposed next steps.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic recommendations on data, ad-tech, and media strategy to optimize opportunities for engagement in social and digital media in accordance with brand priorities.

  • Use data creatively to identify new trends and develop insights that can help the client reach business goals. 

  • Create KPIs and reporting processes based on specific marketing and/or business objectives and leverage metrics and reports to help inform ongoing paid media, marketing, design and/or development decisions.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to measure the impact of our efforts (e.g. paid media, content production, website performance, campaign execution) and create actionable, and insightful client-facing reports. 

  • Develop audits that benchmark a client’s performance across channels and provide analytics-based strategic recommendations.

  • Provide strategic recommendations on data, ad-tech, and media strategy to optimize opportunities for engagement in social and digital media in accordance with brand priorities.

  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to inform design, content, and user experience development from an analytics perspective.

  • Perform digital, cultural, and social trend analysis – of key audience targets, competitors, and/or industries – to support and contribute to strategic deliverables and campaign planning. 

 

Must Haves: 

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing strategist role

  • Strong experience with web, social, and paid media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Google AdWords, Sprinklr, Crimson Hexagon, etc.). Google Analytics Certified preferred. 

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

  • Expert user of excel

  • Experienced in presentation development and delivery of analysis to non-technical audiences.
